Half man-Half demon design

Drew and coloured this bad boy in about an hour and a half. Still have yet to do the background though

After Effects Experiment 2

Yet another After Effects experiment! Got some stock footage courtesy of Andrew Kramer, and threw in a little explosion. This took a lot longer than I'd expected since it was such a simple concept, but it ended up taking me an embarassing 1 and a half hours to make!

After Effects Experiment 1

Followed a tutorial and used some free stock footage from the Action Essentials pack and managed to create this bad boy (watch in 720p):

I feel like I'm definitely starting to improve with After Effects, I barely knew how to open a new file a few days ago! I could've tried to make the effects more authentic of course, and I also should've spread the destruction throughout the whole parking lot shot, but I guess for a first attempt this isn't too shabby. I freakin' love the colour correction presets in After Effects!

Video Copilot

Got a lovely set of muzzle flares, explosions and all things violent from the Action Essentials 2 Adobe After Effects pack. After seeing some of the stuff on here, all I can say is God bless you Andrew Kramer! It comes packed with stock footage, visual fx renders and of course, tutorials. Gonna try a few tutorials and upload my results soon!

Tron Legacy Mock up video

Edited this together using Sony Vegas in around an hour I believe, used about 3 different Tron teaser trailers to make this. Was a bit difficult finding a track that wouldn't be instantly booted from the Youtube servers due to copyright though! Tron is easily one of my fav movies of 2010, mainly because of the pwetty colours! Still a bit rusty in terms of editing, but it's been a while! Timing is a bit off at certain parts and it's quite short but I needed something simple to get me back into the editing mojo, expect bigger and better things soon.

Bloggin like a boss!

Hey guys/gals welcome to my blog! This is gonna be where I throw my random experiments and pieces of work and stuff, so I guess you could call it a portfolio? Anyways hopefully this'll allow me to track my progress and see where my imagination takes me!
